My name is Iris Nañez. I’m a daughter, wife, mother, entrepreneur, and now, I can finally add to this list – an author. Yes, my childhood dream of becoming an author just came true! I’m blessed beyond words to witness the unfolding of my very own fairytale four decades in the making. It’s my honor and privilege to introduce to you, Abide and Abound, A Modest Guide to Maturing Faith: Devotion, Dedication, and Divine Destiny.
As I took a trip down memory lane in the process of writing this book, I was transported into the time when my dream of writing began. I was young at the very tender age of seven-ish. I’m forty-seven years old now, and let me tell you this: I’ve never been more convinced that age is just a number. It’s never too late to be who you were born to be. It’s your unique, precious story, and only you can live it out. As I had been able to muster the strength to write this book, I feel compelled to encourage you: Catch your dream. Be who you were born to be.
Most surely, this endeavor has produced for me a precious hallmark moment, a milestone worth marking for life. I’d go as far as saying, it’s one for the books, pun intended! I hope to share with you my joy. May you muster the will and desire to pick up this book and read it. May it spark a beautiful light inside you that never dims. May it bring into remembrance a dream, once when you were young, pure and bright. May you find the will to dig up that dream no matter how deep it has been buried, and may you have the boldness to bring it to life. Do not wrestle but surrender to our Caller and Dream Giver. It’s something that only you can do. And with all my heart, I believe you can do it.
